Dadasaheb Phalke Dhundiraj Govind Phalke was born in 1870 and died in 1944. He is known as India's "Father of Cinema." He also acted as the film's director and screenwriter. It premiered on May 3 at Mumbai's Coronation Cinematograph. Non-professionals made up the entire cast. Phalke tried to cast women in female roles, but none of them were able to take the stage. In 1917, he made a remake of this film. The Indian government founded the Dadasaheb Phalke award in 1969, and it is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of Indian cinema. Harishchandra is a well-known Indian cultural figure. To keep his promise to Sage Vishwamitra, he sacrificed his wife, kingdom, and children. Harishchandrachi Factory, a Marathi film about the making of the film, was released in 2009. It was India's Best Foreign Film Oscar submission in 2009-10, but it did not make the final cut.

The film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' (also known as QSQT) starred Aamir Khan and Juhi Chawla and was released in 1988. Mansoor Khan directed the film, which featured hit music by Anand-Milind. The film was a tragic love storey loosely based on the Romeo-Juliet storey. Raj (Aamir) and Rashmi (Juhi) were from opposing Rajput tribes, and the movie was about their love storey and elopement. Rashmi was killed and Raj committed suicide at the end of the film. In Bollywood, romantic musicals made a comeback in QSQT. The film 'Maine Pyar Kiya,' starring Salman Khan, was a musical success as well. These two films revolutionised Bollywood, leading filmmakers to concentrate on romantic musicals.

Dharam Veer “Naseeb,“ a tale of fate and destiny, starts with a lottery ticket, which is fitting. A drunk who can't pay his bill instead trades his 'winning' ticket to Namdev, the waiter. Namdev, Damu, Ragu, and another friend plan to purchase the lottery ticket as a party, but when it turns out to be a winner, Damu and Ragu turn on the other two, murdering one and framing Namdev. After ten years, Damu and Ragu have built a splendid hotel and amassed millions of dollars with the money they robbed from the lottery. Damu has used a portion of his earnings to send Vicky, his only child, to school in England. They've also hired Vicky's best friend, Namdev's oldest son Johnny, as a hotel waiter. John and Vicky fell in love with the same gorgeous singer, Miss Asha, by chance (or fate). Sunny, John's younger brother, has fallen for Asha's younger sister, Kim, at the same time. Kim and Asha are both the daughters of the man Namdev is accused of murdering. Both of these characters' lives become entangled, and "Naseeb" transforms into a moving tale of marriage, friendship, sacrifice, and, above all, fate. An astrologer advises Satpal Singh in “Dharam Veer“ that his nephew will inevitably kill him. When Maharani Meenakshi, Satpal's niece, gives birth to twins, he has one hurled from the castle walls and the other replaced with his own son. Years back, the two princes have grown up, one of whom is Dharam, who was rescued by Jwala Singh's pet bird Sheroo. Following that, Dhano and her husband Lohar raised the children, and the second is Veer, who lives in the palace. Satpal learns, to his dismay, that his wife, Roopmati, has swapped the children once again, and as a result, he has been harassing his own son, Ranjit, mistaking him for Veer. Satpal schemes with Prince Sujan Singh, Dev Singh, the gypsy king, and Azad to build hatred between Dharam and Veer, turn them into rivals, make Dharam kill Veer in battle, and then hang Dharam for killing Veer. To begin, he has Lohar arrested and charged with mishandling Meenakshi's carriage, his hands are chopped off, and the outcome is that Dharam is out for revenge, and he will kill anybody who stands in his way.
