Abhishek Bachchan is the owner of the Pro Kabaddi League franchise team Jaipur Pink Panthers and co-owner of the Indian Super League football team Chennaiyin FC. Abhishek is married to one of the evergreen actors of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai. The couple got married on 20 April 2007, in a private ceremony at the Bachchan residence, Prateeksha, in Juhu, Mumbai. Their daughter, Aaradhya Rai Bachchan was born on 16 November 2011. His debut movie was the J. P. Dutta-directed war drama Refugee (2000) where he starred opposite Kareena Kapoor. Though his performance in the film garnered him a nomination for Best Male Debut at the Filmfare Awards ceremony, the film was a box office failure. Abhishek’s subsequent films, including Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai (2001), and Shararat (2002), Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost (2003) were both critical and commercial failures. His role as a gangster in the Mani Ratnam-directed political drama Yuva (2004) earned him a lot of critical appreciation. Abhishek Bachchan won his first Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in this movie. Abhishek's next box-office hit Dhoom was released in the same year and improved his career prospects. Dhoom was his first commercially successful movie and became one of the highest-grossing films of the year. Abhishek won his second Filmfare Award for the Best Supporting Actor in 2005, for his performance in the Ram Gopal Varma-directed thriller Sarkar. He received his third consecutive Best Supporting Actor award at Filmfare for his role as Rishi Talwar in the Karan Johar-directed romantic drama Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006).In the same year, he appeared in the historical romantic drama Umrao Jaan (2006).
